Lap of Love is seeking a compassionate Mobile Veterinarian to provide in-home hospice and euthanasia services for dogs and cats. This role exists to ensure that pets and their families receive dignified, high-quality care in the comfort of their own homes. You will serve as a vital link between medical expertise and emotional support, guiding families through end-of-life decisions with empathy and clarity.
As a Mobile Veterinarian, you will work independently in a home-based setting, traveling to client homes to perform thorough assessments, manage pain and palliative care, and facilitate peaceful farewells. Your day will involve conducting physical exams, adjusting care plans, and maintaining detailed medical records while adhering to strict safety and regulatory standards. You will collaborate with a supportive team that values compassion, ensuring continuity of care for every patient and family you serve.
At Lap of Love, we prioritize the emotional well-being of both pets and their owners. Our team is built on a foundation of compassion, high standards of veterinary care, and a deep commitment to providing comfort during difficult times. We believe in supporting our veterinarians through ongoing training and quality-improvement initiatives, fostering an environment where independent practitioners can thrive while delivering exceptional service.
To join our team, please submit your application with your active DVM or VMD license, valid driver's license, and proof of eligibility for DEA registration. Candidates with certification or training in hospice/palliative care, as well as Fear Free or low-stress handling certifications, are highly encouraged to apply.
