Lap of Love seeks a compassionate Mobile Veterinarian to provide in-home hospice and euthanasia services for dogs and cats. This unique position combines strong clinical skills with exceptional communication and emotional support for families navigating end-of-life decisions. You will perform quality-of-life assessments, create palliative care plans, manage pain and anxiety, and deliver peaceful, dignified farewells directly in a client's home.
In this role, you will travel daily within your local service area to visit pets and their families. Your day involves conducting thorough physical exams, administering medications and euthanasia drugs safely and humanely, and documenting medical records in accordance with Lap of Love's clinical standards. You will collaborate closely with a supportive, mission-driven team, coordinating care with referring veterinarians and participating in team case reviews and continuing education.
