Lap of Love seeks a compassionate Mobile Veterinarian to provide in-home hospice and euthanasia services for pets. You will deliver comfort-focused care, quality-of-life assessments, and peaceful, dignified farewells directly in a home setting. This role is designed to partner closely with families, offering clear communication, emotional support, and expert guidance through difficult decisions.
In this position, you will perform compassionate, at-home euthanasia following Lap of Love protocols, conduct comprehensive quality-of-life assessments, and manage pain control and comfort-focused medications. Your day will involve coordinating scheduling and routing for mobile visits while maintaining detailed medical records in electronic systems. You will collaborate with support staff and other veterinarians on complex cases, ensuring adherence to safety, legal, and ethical guidelines for controlled substances.
