Under the direction of the Branch Manager or Field Leader, the Mobile Examiner serves as the frontline representative for mobile and in-center exams. This role is critical to ensuring that specimen collection and processing are completed accurately and on time, maintaining a safe and professional environment for applicants, clients, and employees.
The Mobile Examiner performs all aspects of an insurance exam, including taking basic vitals, medical histories, venipuncture, urine collection, and EKGs. Beyond specimen collection, the role involves managing the entire workflow from application completion and labeling to uploading cases in the portal and shipping specimens to the lab. The position requires a high degree of organization to manage travel logs, expense forms, and inventory counts while adhering to strict departmental policies and quality assurance standards.
A key component of this role is the potential to act as a coach, mentor, and resource person for new employees who have completed the required phlebotomy training program. The Mobile Examiner must be flexible, capable of traveling within a 25-mile radius, and available for varying shifts, including weekends, holidays, and occasional on-call duties.
