About the Role
Prescient Edge is seeking a Mid-Level Special Security Technician to support a federal government client at USSPACECOM Headquarters in Colorado Springs, CO. This role is critical to maintaining the integrity of national defense operations by serving as a Controlled Access Program (CAP) security specialist.
You will partner closely with the Special Security Officer (SSO) to manage the lifecycle protection of Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Programs (SAP). Your day-to-day involves ensuring strict control over access to SCIFs, conducting security briefings and indoctrinations, and providing expert guidance on classified material handling. As a subject matter expert on DoD and IC policies, you will execute "cradle to grave" security protocols to actively reduce risks of espionage, terrorism, and unauthorized disclosure.

Requirements
