This role supports the Global Power Programs Directorate (SAF/AQP) at the Pentagon. AQP directs, plans, and programs for the development, procurement, and product support of a $10 billion portfolio of global power programs. This portfolio encompasses legacy fighters, fifth-generation aircraft, and sixth-generation aircraft programs. It includes the entirety of the Department of the Air Force (DAF) munitions procurements, such as JDAM, SDB, and Hellfire missiles used in Operation Inherent Resolve. Additionally, the Global Power portfolio captures DAF investments in the nuclear triad, including the legacy and modernization of Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) and Cruise Missile programs. These efforts are increasingly vital to cross-cutting Air Force Global Power priorities, including Nuclear Command Control & Communications, Operational Imperatives, and emerging kinetic priorities.
