We are hiring a Meter Technician to connect and disconnect meters used by residential and commercial consumers. This role is vital to our mission of maintaining America's infrastructure. You will receive service orders daily from the utility office, close out orders, and perform read-outs or read-ins. Your day will involve walking or driving a truck over an established route to inspect meters and connections for defects, damage, and unauthorized connections. You will also be responsible for ensuring that company vehicles and equipment receive proper care and maintenance.
