About the Role

As a Material Handling Equipment Technician Level III, you will oversee the safe operation, daily monitoring, and maintenance of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and industrial batteries. This role is designed for experienced professionals who can troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical systems, including PLCs, motors, and hydraulic schematics. You will play a key part in maintaining the fleet's reliability through preventive maintenance, electrical repairs, and welding projects.

In this position, you will also mentor junior technicians (Tech I and II), assist with battery maintenance tasks, and participate in the departmental on-call program. Your day-to-day involves logging work orders in the CMMS, ensuring strict adherence to safety policies and OSHA regulations, and championing a culture of safety within the department. You will also handle special projects related to building and grounds maintenance as needed.
