About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Exterior Panel (ACM) & Insulated Metal Panel (IMP) Installer to join our commercial carpentry team. This position is dedicated to the safe and precise installation of exterior panel systems on commercial buildings, ensuring high-quality facades and roofs that meet strict project specifications.
Day in the Life
In this role, you will read blueprints and execute the installation of ACM and IMP panels with accuracy. Your day involves measuring, cutting, and fitting panels while utilizing proper fastening systems, including rivets, screws, adhesives, and clip systems. You will operate lifts, scaffolding, and material-handling equipment to complete the work.
Collaboration is key; you will work closely with the crew to keep projects on schedule and maintain a clean jobsite. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to inspecting work for defects, gaps, and ensuring panels are aligned and weather-tight. Throughout the day, you will adhere to all safety procedures and utilize required PPE.
Requirements & Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Completion of OSHO 10 training is required, along with a solid knowledge of construction safety and PPE protocols.
