This position serves as a vital support member of the patient care team under the direction of a Registered Nurse. The role focuses on delivering compassionate care to patients and their families, ensuring that both psychiatric and physical needs are met through effective teamwork and communication. You will work in an environment where patients and their representatives may be experiencing high levels of stress, requiring critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to collaborate with minimal supervision.
This is a non-exempt, union-represented position with a short-hour status. The role operates on a night shift schedule, working 8-hour shifts on variable days of the week. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. The position is part-time, with weekly hours totaling 16.
