We are seeking a Member Services Representative to join our team at the Newark Headquarters Office. This role is the face of the Cooperative, responsible for assisting member-consumers with natural gas, propane, and electric services. You will ensure every interaction is handled in a courteous and professional manner, promoting the Cooperative's mission, vision, and values through service excellence.
A key component of this position involves managing the drive-thru window, where you will take payments and assist members directly. Beyond the drive-thru, you will handle a wide range of customer service duties, including setting up new construction accounts, managing transfers and terminations, addressing complaints, and facilitating payment arrangements. You will also guide members toward various assistance programs such as HEAP, LEADS, and Job and Family Services when appropriate.
