About the Role
Med Techs at Platinum Communities provide high-quality personal care and service to residents, ensuring their individual choices are respected while maintaining strict adherence to regulations and established best practices. This role is pivotal in managing and distributing resident medications safely and accurately, serving as a bridge between clinical needs and daily living support.
The Medication Technician is responsible for the safe administration of medications, direct resident care, and contributing to a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Beyond clinical duties, this position involves reviewing Individualized Service Plans (ISPs), reporting changes in resident conditions, and acting as a mentor to new staff members. The role also requires providing flexible support across all departments, including activities, dietary, and housekeeping, to foster a cohesive community atmosphere.

Application Process
Candidates must be at least 18 years old with a High School Diploma or GED. Successful completion of CBRF medication administration training and required core trainings (Standard Precautions, Fire Safety, First Aid/Choking, and Resident Rights) is mandatory. While previous caregiving experience in a CBRF or RCAC setting is preferred, we welcome dedicated individuals committed to learning and growth.
