About the Role

As a Travel Medical Surgical Unit RN, you will deliver high-quality bedside care across diverse acute-care settings. This role exists to provide comprehensive assessments and manage the full spectrum of adult med-surg patient needs, from administering medications and managing IVs to performing wound care and coordinating care plans.

You will collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, therapists, and case managers to coordinate transitions of care, including discharges and transfers. A key part of your day involves educating patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans to promote optimal recovery, while maintaining accurate, timely electronic health records and ensuring compliance with all clinical and safety protocols. You will also have the opportunity to precept and support fellow nurses and ancillary staff, fostering a culture of empowerment, transparency, and continuous improvement.
