About the Role
As a Travel Medical Surgical Unit RN, you will deliver high-quality bedside care across diverse acute-care settings. This role exists to ensure comprehensive patient outcomes by bridging clinical expertise with compassionate communication. You will collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to manage the full spectrum of adult med-surg needs, from complex assessments to discharge planning.
Your day will involve administering medications, managing IVs, performing wound care, and coordinating care plans while documenting in modern EHR systems. Beyond clinical duties, you will play a vital role in educating patients and families on diagnoses and treatments to promote optimal recovery. Additionally, you will help foster a culture of empowerment and continuous improvement by precepting and supporting fellow nurses and ancillary staff.
