About the Role
As a Travel Medical Surgical Unit RN, you will deliver high-quality bedside care across diverse acute-care settings. This role exists to ensure comprehensive patient support through direct clinical care, from initial assessments and medication administration to complex wound care and IV management. You will coordinate care plans for adult med-surg patients, collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, therapists, and case managers to facilitate smooth transitions of care, including discharges and transfers.
Your day will involve documenting in modern EHR systems, monitoring vital signs and lab results, and educating patients and families on diagnoses and recovery plans. Beyond clinical duties, you will play a key role in fostering a culture of empowerment and continuous improvement by precepting and supporting fellow nurses and ancillary staff.
