We are seeking a professional, patient-focused Medical Receptionist to join our Spine Surgery & Pain Management office in Oklahoma City. This role serves as the vital first point of contact for patients, playing an essential part in ensuring smooth scheduling, accurate registration, and an excellent patient experience.\n The ideal candidate possesses strong knowledge of commercial healthcare insurance and thrives in a fast-paced specialty practice. You will be responsible for managing check-in and check-out processes with empathy, handling multi-line phone systems, and verifying commercial insurance eligibility, benefits, and network status. A key part of your day involves identifying the need for referrals and prior authorizations for imaging and procedures, while clearly communicating patient responsibilities and next steps.
Beyond administrative duties, you will maintain strict HIPAA compliance to protect patient privacy and ensure all documents are accurately scanned and uploaded into the EHR. We value team members who are friendly, calm, and confident when interacting with patients who may be in pain, as well as those who are detail-oriented and organized.
