About the Department
Loyola University Medical Center's Department of Radiation Oncology seeks a highly motivated Medical Physicist to join our dynamic faculty at the main campus. We are a thriving academic environment dedicated to clinical excellence, education, and independent scholarship.
Our group consists of nine medical physicists with clinical responsibilities throughout our network, covering brachytherapy, SRS/SBRT, TBI, and quality assurance. The department is equipped with state-of-the-art treatment technology, including three Varian TrueBeams, a Varian Edge, a Varian Ethos, three CT simulators, and comprehensive systems for HDR, IORT, hyperthermia, and Online Adaptive RT. We foster a collaborative culture with a dynamic team of faculty physicists, clinical physicists, a physicist-scientist, dosimetrists, and medical physics residents.
