About OhioHealth

We are more than a health system. We are a belief system. We believe wellness and sickness are both part of a lifelong partnership, and that everyone could use an expert guide. We work hard, care deeply and reach further to help people uncover their own power to be healthy. We inspire hope. We learn, grow, and achieve more – in our careers and in our communities.

About the Team

Our Physics team currently consists of 14 board certified Physicists, 1 Medical Physics Assistant, and 15 dosimetrists. We are responsible for covering 10 different care sites across central and eastern Ohio. Our large group provides collaborative cross-coverage support for the team, ensuring that even though each physicist has a home base and primary care site, we provide rotating weekly chart check coverage remotely.

About the Role

Our OhioHealth Physics team is expanding to support the growth of an additional care site. We are looking to add a new Physics position to join our Radiation Oncology team. This role will be primarily based at our care sites within Columbus, OH, with a hybrid work environment offered to our Physicists. We are certainly open to considering Residency candidates.

This position is for those who believe that learning is a life-long process and strive for excellence in the healthcare industry. You will work in a caring environment where your passion for physics directly impacts patient care through the use of advanced technologies including Linear Accelerators, SRS, SBRT, and HDR systems.

Why Columbus?

Columbus, Ohio is one of the fastest growing cities in the nation. The city offers the perks of an urban city with the ease of commute and suburban tranquility of a smaller city, making it an ideal location for professionals seeking both career growth and quality of life.

Hiring Process

Join us if your passion is to work in a caring environment and you want to be among the best in the healthcare industry. We invite you to apply to become part of our team.

Equal Opportunity
