Key Responsibilities
- check_circleSupport clinical physics operations within the Radiation Oncology Service
- check_circlePerform QA procedures, calibrations, and dose verification following AAPM standards
- check_circleParticipate in treatment planning and validation for 2D/3D Conformal, SRS, SRT, SBRT, and IMRT/VMAT modalities
- check_circleOversee IGRT, cone beam CT imaging, and treatment equipment QA
- check_circleConduct weekly and end-of-treatment chart reviews
- check_circleMaintain full clinical documentation in CPRS and ensure compliance with VA standards
Requirements
- verifiedMS or PhD in Medical Physics or related discipline
- verifiedBoard Certification in Medical Physics or Therapeutic Medical Physics by the ABR
- verifiedMinimum 2 years of continuous work experience within the last 3 years
