This position works at clinical sites to observe medical physics services under the supervision of a qualified medical physicist, commensurate with your level of advancement and responsibility as determined by the Sr. Medical Physicist. You will implement and abide by Customer Service Standards while supporting and demonstrating Family-Centered Care principles when interacting with customers and co-workers.
You will develop a personal program of self-study and clinical competency with guidance from the medical physics clinical staff. Your role involves maintaining professional, tactful, and diplomatic contact with employees, physicians in radiation oncology, and the public, while ensuring patient confidentiality is maintained at all times. You will participate in the educational and scholarly activities of the program and engage in departmental and institutional committees, especially those related to technical, safety, and patient care activities.
