About the Role

We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist II to join our Clinical Laboratory team in Cleveland, OH, specifically within the Auto Chemistry department. This role is critical for maintaining the integrity of our diagnostic testing services, operating during the Thursday to Monday night shift (10:00 PM to 6:30 AM). The position requires the exercise of independent judgment and responsibility to perform moderate-to-high complexity test procedures that directly impact patient care.

In this role, you will be the backbone of our analytical operations, ensuring that all testing is conducted in strict accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Your day-to-day involves not only running tests and reporting results but also troubleshooting complex instrument issues, managing quality control protocols, and supporting process improvements. You will serve as a key resource for staff training and may assume lead responsibilities in the absence of a supervisor, ensuring seamless laboratory operations around the clock.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

Nice to Have

Minimum of 3 years clinical experience with most current year in present department. Associates Degree in Laboratory Science or Medical Technology. Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Biology, or Chemistry.
