About the Team
Research and Development at Procter & Gamble, the largest consumer packaged goods company in the world, includes a diverse group of roles that contribute to the innovation and development of our products. This position is part of the Global Product Stewardship (GPS) team, dedicated to ensuring the safety and compliance of Procter & Gamble's diverse range of products. GPS supports several internal teams, including the GPS Office for Animal Welfare, the GPS Pet Safety team, and the GPS Study Management team.
About the Role
As a Laboratory Animal Scientist, you will join a dynamic environment where you can find variety and excitement starting Day 1. You will support global work teams including human safety toxicologists, environmental stewards, project leaders, endpoint experts, veterinarians, and regulatory partners. Your contributions will make a real impact as part of a collaborative team, providing aquatic husbandry and animal welfare support while managing facility sanitization and equipment maintenance.
The ideal candidate is self-directed, proactive, and possesses a strong eagerness to learn and grow professionally. A passion for innovation and problem-solving is key, as is the ability to adapt to new challenges. You will be expected to multitask effectively, demonstrate a "flow to the work" aptitude, and possess the flexibility to independently self-teach. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-customer oriented attitude are essential.

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant scientific field
- verifiedExternal certification in laboratory animal medicine or IACUC administration (e.g., AALAS, LAT, CMAR)
- verifiedWorking knowledge of IACUC administration, GLP, 8th Edition Guide, AAALAC standards
- verifiedIntermediate or expert level proficiency with Excel, Word, Microsoft Office
- verifiedAbility to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds
- verifiedAbility to participate in weekend and holiday staffing rotation
- verifiedOnsite availability 5 days a week at Mason, OH
- verifiedWork authorization in the US (no immigration sponsorship)
