This Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) position is designed to support the clinical laboratories at Superior, Moose Lake, and Sandstone Hospitals. The role is critical to the routine screening, diagnosis, treatment, and management of diseases and injuries for patients of all ages. You will perform and report tests of all complexity levels as defined by CLIA, interpreting and correlating results with disease states and theoretical knowledge.
Beyond routine testing, this position requires high-level problem-solving skills to participate in Quality Assurance and Quality Control monitoring, as well as instrumentation maintenance and troubleshooting. The role may also involve phlebotomy and specimen processing duties, alongside opportunities to participate in research, development, education, and technical consultation.
