This position serves as a vital technical resource within our clinical laboratory, performing a variety of complex tests and procedures that drive patient care. You will be the primary point of contact for laboratory instrumentation and disciplines, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of every result.
Your day-to-day work involves utilizing scientific principles to manage quality control, calibration, and reagent preparation. You will distinguish between normal and abnormal clinical parameters, taking immediate corrective action when necessary and alerting appropriate staff to critical findings. Beyond testing, you will provide technical guidance to the team, train new employees on equipment and procedures, and participate in the development of new protocols and laboratory continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.
