Wesley Community & Health Centers is a local, non-profit, federally qualified health center committed to providing high-quality primary care to all individuals, regardless of insurance status. With locations in Phoenix and Mesa, we offer comprehensive, patient-centered medical services.
Beyond healthcare, we empower our community through programs such as After School initiatives, Neighborhood Revitalization, Nutrition support, Adult Education, and Financial Literacy. By partnering with local businesses and organizations, we strive to improve the overall health and well-being of our community members.
As a Front Desk Medical Receptionist, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, both in person and by telephone. This position is a vital function in our health care delivery system, where you will welcome patients, direct them to the services they need, and ensure a smooth flow from arrival to provider visit.
You will play a key role in managing patient intake, including scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, and collecting necessary documentation and payments. Your work ensures that patients are prepared before seeing a provider and that our records are accurate and up-to-date. You will collaborate closely with medical, behavioral health, and health education staff to reduce waiting times and enhance the patient experience.
At Wesley Health Center, we believe in our mission: "Together we empower positive change." We expect every team member to treat patients with kindness and consideration, even in challenging situations, and to relate to the public regardless of ethnic, religious, or economic status.
We expect all employees to adhere to WCHC policies and procedures, conduct themselves in a manner that reflects our values, and maintain a positive, respectful attitude with all contacts. You will be empowered to provide outstanding service, communicate regularly with your supervisor, and actively participate in required trainings.
Wesley Community & Health Centers is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and strive to create an environment where everyone feels valued and respected.
