About the Role
We are seeking experienced Medical Assistants to join our team in the Nashville, TN area. In this role, you will provide essential clinical care within our urgent care, occupational health, and workers' compensation settings. You will be the first point of contact for patients, responsible for initial evaluations, recording histories, and capturing vital signs to prepare patients for provider evaluation.
Your day will involve recognizing acuity levels to ensure appropriate intervention and supporting the flow of the clinic. You will play a key role in diagnostic support by preparing and shooting X-Rays, ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols. Additionally, you will manage patient communication, offering solutions to concerns and ensuring timely follow-ups on lab and X-ray results. This position requires a blend of clinical precision and compassionate patient interaction to maintain our high standards of care.

Key Responsibilities

- check_circleAccurately document vital signs, histories, medications, allergies, and other pertinent details
- check_circlePrepare and shoot X-Rays, ensuring proper positioning, safety, radiation protection, and shielding
- check_circleEnsure timely follow-up for lab and x-ray results and execute follow-up calls with urgency
- check_circlePerform phlebotomy, injections, and other clinical procedures as trained and directed
- check_circleSupport front desk staff with check-in and check-out procedures when needed
- check_circleMaintain stocked and clean exam rooms while adhering to infection control and safety standards
Requirements

- verifiedBLS Certification
- verifiedCertified Medical Assistant preferred
- verifiedExperience performing X-Rays desirable
