About the Role
We are seeking experienced Medical Assistants to join our team in Mt. Juliet, TN. In this role, you will provide essential clinical care within our urgent care, occupational health, and workers' compensation settings. You will be the first point of contact for patients, responsible for initial evaluations, x-ray testing, and preparing patients for provider visits by accurately recording histories, vital signs, and documentation. Your ability to recognize acuity levels will be crucial for ensuring appropriate and timely interventions.
The Day-to-Day
Your day will involve greeting patients promptly and communicating clearly about wait times and next steps. You will support front desk operations during check-in and check-out procedures and ensure timely follow-ups on lab and x-ray results. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to clinical tasks, including performing phlebotomy, injections, and assisting with patient transfers and procedures under provider supervision. You will also be responsible for preparing and shooting X-Rays, ensuring proper positioning and strict adherence to radiation safety and shielding protocols. Maintaining clean, stocked exam rooms and adhering to infection control and patient confidentiality standards are daily priorities.
Schedule
Full-time team members work a rotating schedule of 36–40 hours per week, consisting of 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekend coverage. We also offer PRN (per diem) opportunities scheduled on an as-needed basis.

Requirements
