About the Role
We are seeking experienced Medical Assistants to join our team in Mt. Juliet, TN. In this role, you will provide essential clinical care within our urgent care, occupational health, and workers' compensation settings. You will be the first point of contact for patients, responsible for initial evaluations, x-ray testing, and preparing patients for provider visits by accurately recording histories, vital signs, and documentation. Your ability to recognize acuity levels will be crucial in determining the appropriate level of intervention.
Your day-to-day involves greeting patients promptly, communicating clearly about wait times and next steps, and offering solutions to patient concerns. You will support the front desk during check-in and check-out procedures, ensure timely follow-up on lab and x-ray results, and maintain stocked, clean exam rooms. As a key member of the clinical team, you will assist with patient transfers, procedures, and lab work under provider supervision, performing phlebotomy and injections as trained. A significant part of your role includes preparing and shooting X-Rays, ensuring proper positioning, safety, radiation protection, and shielding.
Schedule
Full-time team members work a rotating schedule of 36-40 hours per week, consisting of 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekend. We also offer PRN (per diem) opportunities scheduled on an as-needed basis.

Requirements
