About the Role
We are seeking experienced Medical Assistants to join our team in Mt. Juliet, TN. In this role, you will provide essential clinical care within our urgent care, occupational health, and workers' compensation settings. You will be the first point of contact for patients, responsible for initial evaluations, x-ray testing, and preparing patients for provider visits by accurately recording histories and vital signs. Your ability to recognize acuity levels will be crucial in determining the appropriate level of intervention.
Your day will involve greeting patients promptly, communicating clearly about wait times, and offering solutions to concerns while knowing when to escalate emergent or hazardous situations. You will ensure timely follow-ups on lab and x-ray results, assist with patient transfers and procedures under provider supervision, and maintain clean, stocked exam rooms. As a key member of our clinical team, you will perform phlebotomy, injections, and x-rays, ensuring proper positioning and strict adherence to radiation safety and infection control standards.
Schedule
Full-time team members work a rotating schedule of 36-40 hours per week, featuring 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekends. We also offer PRN (per diem) opportunities scheduled on an as-needed basis.

Requirements
