This position serves as a vital resource within the laboratory, performing, calculating, and reporting both routine and special laboratory tests. Beyond technical execution, the role involves maintaining equipment, troubleshooting problems, and evaluating results alongside quality control data. You will act as a mentor, teaching new employees and students while assisting in the evaluation of new test procedures.
A key aspect of this role is demonstrating knowledge of patient growth and development across the lifespan. You will assess patient data relative to age-specific needs, ensuring care aligns with departmental policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will function productively and independently, planning and prioritizing tasks to maintain positive performance under a variety of conditions, including crisis situations.
