About the Role
We have an immediate need for a Mechanical Engineer at our Syosset, NY location. This role is designed for a professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to build services and capabilities through the growth of our key asset—our staff. You will work on a diverse mix of project types, ranging from critical environment healthcare designs to energy performance work and large public infrastructure projects.
In this position, you will lead the design and development of HVAC systems for commercial and institutional facilities, including operating rooms, CSS, pharmacies, and outpatient hospitals. You will also engage with public works clients such as DASNY, CUNY, NYS OGS, and NYCHA. The day-to-day involves conducting site surveys, collaborating with architects and other engineering disciplines to integrate systems seamlessly, and utilizing tools like AutoCAD and Revit to create accurate designs. Beyond technical execution, you will provide guidance to junior engineers and stay ahead of industry trends to optimize system performance and ensure code compliance.
