NYU Langone Health is a world-class, patient-centered, integrated academic medical center recognized as one of the nation's premier centers for excellence in clinical care, biomedical research, and medical education. The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is building on the success of its Fetal Diagnosis and Treatment Program by expanding into the NYU Langone Health Advanced Fetal Care Center (AFCC) at our Manhattan campuses. This expansion marks a pivotal moment in bringing fetal surgery to New York City, supported by the recent recruitment of a renowned fetal surgeon.
This position offers an exceptional opportunity for a Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) physician leader to play a central role in the continued growth and development of our comprehensive fetal surgery program. The successful candidate will hold an appointment in the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine and serve as Co-Director of the AFCC in collaboration with multidisciplinary colleagues in pediatric surgery, cardiology, neonatology, radiology, and genetics.
The role is designed to balance clinical excellence with program leadership, comprising approximately 50% Maternal-Fetal Medicine clinical care and 50% fetal therapy and program development. As the program grows, the proportion of effort dedicated to fetal therapy is expected to increase in parallel with the expansion of interventional procedures, research infrastructure, and training programs. This is an ideal career path for a physician seeking to combine clinical innovation with leadership in a rapidly expanding subspecialty.
Interested candidates should submit their CV and a cover letter outlining their commitment to exceptional patient care. Applications should be sent to the designated recruitment channel.
NYU Langone Health is an equal opportunity employer committed to inclusion in all aspects of recruiting and employment. All qualified individuals are encouraged to apply.
