We are looking for an Associate Director, Supply Chain Materials Manager to join our team and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.
Reporting to the Executive Director of Supply Chain for the Cold Section Module Center (CSMC), this role serves as a critical nexus for demand evaluation, supply integration, and executive reporting. You will manage the Product Center's SIOP demand evaluation and response, leading integration meetings to resolve demand and supply gaps.
Your day will involve partnering with the Command Center, Global Supply Chain Material Managers, and Design Teams to advance performance tools like commit compliance and integrity. You will prepare daily executive escalation summaries for engine center leadership and conduct weekly meetings with purchasing value streams to track spares performance, DPAS & POP awareness, workstops, and critical parts.
A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to producing monthly review slide decks for the CSMC Purchasing Executive Operations Leadership Team and the Product Center. You will work closely with CSMC's five Value Streams to identify and mitigate delivery risks, organizing cross-disciplinary meetings to align recovery actions and report progress to senior leadership. Additionally, you will coordinate and generate Spares delivery Plans and MMLs for all CSMC supply chain parts, working with value stream teams to generate overdue recovery actions.
This position is classified as Onsite, located in Middletown, CT. Employees in onsite roles work primarily at the facility, as they are essential to product development.
