As a Material Handler, you will be the backbone of efficient operations, safely loading, unloading, and staging materials to support production, shipping, and warehousing. This role is critical for maintaining a smooth material flow throughout the facility. You will verify material accuracy, perform basic quality checks, and operate handling equipment to ensure that the right products reach the right departments at the right time.
Your day will involve moving materials from trucks and trailers to production areas, staging items based on work orders, and conducting visual inspections to remove damaged goods. You will coordinate with Production, Lamination, Shipping, and Maintenance teams to respond to urgent material requests. Success in this role requires a strong commitment to safety, including adhering to lock-out/tag-out procedures, and the ability to maintain clean, organized work areas in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
