About the Role

The Fabricator/Welder position at the ADM Mechanical Facility in Decatur, IL, is a full-time, hourly role focused on fabricating equipment for capital projects and maintenance. This is an entry to mid-level opportunity where you will work within a team atmosphere to build process equipment. The role emphasizes safety and quality, requiring you to operate welding equipment with minimal assistance.

You will be an integral part of the day shift (Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM), with opportunities for overtime as needed. There is no out-of-town travel required for this position. The work environment is a non-air-conditioned production setting that may involve seasonal elements, dust, and noise levels requiring hearing protection. You will collaborate with colleagues to ensure high standards of fabrication while adhering to strict safety protocols.

Hiring Process

Candidates must successfully complete a background check to be considered for this position. New colleagues will undergo on-the-job training to acquire necessary skills and certifications, including safety, food safety, quality, and environmental training, as well as specific equipment operations.
