About the Role
As a contract-based Marketing Specialist, you will join a fast-paced, collaborative marketing team within Stride's dynamic, end-to-end corporate marketing department. Reporting to the Manager of School Marketing, your primary mission is to support the execution of omni-channel campaigns that drive new student enrollment and increase engagement across Stride's portfolio of 70+ online schools.
This role is designed for early-career professionals seeking to build foundational marketing skills while contributing to a strategic business priority. You will serve as a central hub, collaborating with cross-functional teams—including creative, demand generation, web, analytics, email, product, organic social, enrollment, and external agencies—to deliver marketing programs with accuracy and consistency. The position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a mission-driven organization dedicated to K-12 education.
Day in the Life
Your work will be execution-focused, balancing project support, coordination, and campaign delivery. You will assist in developing messaging aligned with school value propositions, coordinate assets across channels, and support performance tracking. A significant portion of your time will be spent partnering with creative and product teams to ensure materials accurately reflect product features, as well as collaborating with earned media agencies to execute local and regional awareness campaigns.
You will also apply market research insights to support campaign positioning, assist with A/B testing initiatives, and compile marketing performance metrics such as website traffic and conversions. While this position has no formal supervisory responsibilities, there may be opportunities to mentor interns. The role requires the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment, work both independently and within a team, and occasionally travel for school board meetings, video shoots, or team-building events.
