The Marine Electrician Superintendent serves as a pivotal leader for the Electrical production team. This role exists to ensure strict adherence to project schedules, drive departmental efficiency, and continuously enhance product quality. You will act as the primary liaison between the production floor and our customers, providing accurate, up-to-date work status updates during progress meetings.
In this position, you will manage assigned personnel, including two or more supervisors, offering the leadership, training, and mentoring necessary to boost repair reliability and capability. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will oversee complex troubleshooting of shipboard systems and equipment, ensuring all work is performed in accordance with designated Process Control Procedures (PCP), technical manuals, and blueprints. You will also be responsible for accurate budgetary tracking, material allocation, and the preparation of Condition Found Reports to facilitate system restoration.
Candidates must be eligible to obtain base access clearance to access U.S. government or military sites. This includes passing a background check and presenting valid government-issued identification that is REAL ID-compliant or an approved form of federal identification, such as a valid U.S. passport.
