About the Role
R&P Technologies is seeking a Master Technician to operate under the supervision of a Lead Technician Level IV. This role is designed to bridge advanced technical expertise with leadership, requiring you to provide training to Technician Level II and I personnel while standing in as the Lead Technician when necessary.
You will execute complex electrical installation plans for a wide array of systems, including 115VAC/440VAC equipment, fiber optics, lighting, RF antennas, audio/video, and network systems. The position demands a keen attention to detail to ensure all work complies with ship specification requirements and adheres to OSHA, NAVSEA, ABS, and local shipyard safety policies. You will operate efficiently within a team environment, demonstrating effective leadership while managing junior personnel and reporting task completions or production obstacles to your Lead Technician.
In this capacity, you may run shipboard availabilities with a small crew and will receive mentorship from Lead or Task Leads for any assigned tasks requiring further guidance. The role also involves learning and utilizing tools such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Adobe Acrobat DC to support operational efficiency.
