R&P Technologies is a premier provider of technical services to the U.S. Navy and commercial maritime sectors. We are dedicated to maintaining the operational readiness of naval vessels through expert electrical and electronic systems support. Our mission is to deliver high-quality ship repair and maintenance solutions while fostering a culture of safety, precision, and continuous improvement.
This position serves as a critical bridge between technical execution and team leadership within our shipyard operations. As a Master Technician, you will operate under the supervision of a Lead Technician Level IV, ensuring all work aligns with strict ship specification requirements and safety protocols. You will be responsible for executing complex electrical installation plans, ranging from power distribution and lighting to advanced audio/video and network systems.
Beyond technical execution, this role emphasizes mentorship and leadership. You will guide Technician Level II and I personnel, providing training and support to elevate the team's overall capability. You are expected to demonstrate effective leadership qualities, troubleshoot complex malfunctions, and step in as the Lead Technician when required to ensure project continuity. The role demands a keen attention to detail and the ability to navigate a dynamic environment where flexibility in scheduling and travel to various shipyard locations is often necessary.
Candidates must be U.S. citizens with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance. The selection process prioritizes verified experience in marine electrical systems and specific Navy certifications.
