Exercise Analyst — Tampa, FL at Lukos

About the Role

The MARCENT Exercise Analyst serves as a critical support asset to the United States Marine Corps Forces, Central Command (MARCENT) and its subordinate commands. Based at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida, this role operates within the Operations Directorate (G-3), which advises the Commander of MARCENT on current and future operations across the U.S. Central Command Area of Responsibility (AOR).

The position is integral to the planning, execution, and assessment of the MARCENT INTREPID MAVEN series and other directed exercises. These initiatives provide episodic opportunities for Marine Corps force elements to deploy to the CENTCOM AOR, validating operating concepts, gaining regional familiarity, and meeting combatant commander objectives. The analyst ensures that exercise design, training plans, and force deployment data align with Joint Staff and Service doctrine while supporting the G-3's mission to organize, direct, and control USMC operations globally.

The ideal candidate must be prepared for travel with less than 24 hours' notice to support personnel recovery and training for forward-deployed forces throughout the CENTCOM AOR.
