About the Role
This position is contingent upon the award of a contract. The Manpower Analyst will support the United States Marine Corps Forces, Central Command (MARCENT) and subordinate commands under a five-year contract. Based at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida, the role serves as a Component Command to U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM).
The analyst will support the Manpower Directorate (G-1) both within the continental United States (CONUS) and outside the continental United States (OCONUS). The G-1 performs critical analysis of manpower requirements to support operations and advises the Commander on personnel operations, management, policy, administration, awards, correspondence, travel management, and the Government Travel Charge Card (GTCC) Program. The role involves providing operational manpower support, advisory services on reporting, and daily status updates on manpower sourcing for all operational organizations within the CENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR). The position requires integrating USMC processes with COCOM/CJTF manpower management and conducting reviews of Operational and Contingency plans at the TS/SCI classification level.
Travel is a significant component of this role. Contractor personnel must support projected travel to MARCENT AOR and supporting locations, including Bahrain, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, and many others across the Central Command region. The ideal candidate must be available for travel on less than 24 hours' notice to support personnel recovery and training for forward-deployed forces, with the ability to execute OCONUS travel throughout the CENTCOM AOR.
