This role serves as a strategic partner to drive the future of snacking by leading complex distribution operations. You will manage the flow of pallets across the network, overseeing budget management and process optimization to ensure the highest level of service at the lowest cost. As a key liaison across functions, you will act as a distribution operations resource, providing new ideas and policies to improve quality, cost, and service.
You will be responsible for formalizing project templates, standardizing SOPs, and developing training tools for new business methods. This position requires leading change management initiatives when implementing new concepts with internal operations, 3PLs, or plant partners. You will also serve as the lead point of contact for Logistics program implementations, managing the quality and timing of rollouts while ensuring necessary process and system training is delivered.
The role involves evaluating operational processes to identify opportunities for efficiency and cost reduction, facilitating continuous improvement projects, and establishing accountabilities to ensure required levels of productivity. You will work on complex problems requiring in-depth evaluation of various factors, exercising judgment within broadly defined practices to solve issues in creative and effective ways. This position demands regular interaction with peers, management, and senior management to influence policy-making bodies both internally and externally.
