The Manager of Transaction Management is a hands-on, player/coach role responsible for overseeing all real estate transactions for House Buyers of America, managing both acquisition and disposition deals from contract through closing. This position exists to ensure the integrity and speed of our closing process while leading a dedicated team of Transaction Coordinators and Settlement Processors.
In this role, you will balance leading the team with managing your own personal pipeline of transactions. You will be the escalation point for complex issues, pushing back on title companies, lenders, and other parties to get results. The ideal candidate is assertive, holds others accountable, and is willing to do what it takes to get deals closed. You will solve complex problems involving title defects, surveys, utilities, and seller challenges while ensuring high-quality accuracy across all listings and CRM data. This is a role for someone who loves people, is obsessed with making customers happy, and thrives under pressure.
