About the Role

As the Manager, Real Estate - Solar and Storage, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our footprint by leading site and land acquisition efforts for standalone storage projects in the United States. This position is critical to our siting and project development goals, bridging the gap between strategic planning and execution.

In this role, you will manage the entire lifecycle of the land acquisition process, from initial planning and targeting to negotiating agreements, handling legal and title aspects, and preparing the real property components for financing and construction. You will work hands-on to identify innovative siting approaches in this exciting new sector of renewable energy development. Your work will involve collaborating with third-party brokers, consultants, and internal permitting and transmission teams to secure critical community support and ensure timely public review and approval.

You will be the face of the company in the field, making presentations to public bodies and large community groups, fielding questions, and fostering positive relationships with landowners and stakeholders. This role requires a unique blend of strategic oversight and hands-on execution to navigate complex transactions and drive project goals under strict deadlines.
