About the Role

As the Manager, Real Estate - Solar and Storage, you will play a pivotal role in the Company's siting and project development goals in the United States, with a specific focus on standalone storage projects. This position is designed for a hands-on leader who will manage the entire land acquisition process, from initial planning and targeting to negotiating agreements and preparing real property components for financing and construction.

In this role, you will be instrumental in identifying innovative siting approaches within this exciting new sector. You will serve as a key liaison between the Company, third-party brokers, landowners, and public agencies. Your day-to-day involves educating stakeholders on the nuances of storage and renewable energy projects, managing complex negotiations for lease and purchase agreements, and fostering strong community relationships to ensure timely public review and approval. You will also lead initiatives to gain critical community support and facilitate rezoning efforts where necessary, ensuring that project goals are met under strict deadlines while maintaining positive relationships with landowners and interested parties.
