This position is responsible for managing and implementing a strategic, measurable internal communications program that supports and advances the Memorial Hermann strategies, mission, vision, and values. The role serves internal audiences including employees, physicians, volunteers, and board members.
As a leader in this space, you will design and execute comprehensive internal communications plans while setting and maintaining the organization's graphic and editorial standards. You will ensure quality and consistency in all writing and design, reviewing and approving deliverables such as memos, talking points, video scripts, and presentations. Beyond content creation, you will foster teamwork and a spirit of cooperation among the division's staff and across other departmental divisions.
This is a leadership role where you will recruit, hire, train, evaluate, and mentor staff, while also promoting individual professional growth. You will collaborate with Communications and hospital leaders to prepare annual budgets and monitor expenses to ensure cost-effective operations. Throughout your tenure, you will demonstrate a commitment to caring for every member of our community by creating compassionate and personalized experiences, modeling Memorial Hermann's service standards of providing safe, caring, personalized, and efficient experiences to both patients and our workforce.
