This role is responsible for managing and implementing a strategic, measurable internal communications program that supports and advances the Memorial Hermann strategies, mission, vision and values. Internal audiences include employees, physicians, volunteers and board members.
Note: This position will be a 2-year temporary position.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleDesign and execute strategic internal communications plans and programs
- check_circleSet and maintain graphic and editorial standards for internal communications
- check_circlePromote teamwork and cooperation among division and departmental staff
- check_circleWrite and create internal deliverables including memos, scripts, and presentations
- check_circleRecruit, hire, train, evaluate, and mentor staff members
- check_circleCollaborate with leaders to develop and achieve communication objectives
- check_circlePrepare annual budgets and monitor expenses for cost-effective operations
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Journalism, Communication, or related field
- verifiedFive (5) years of professional experience in organizational communications
- verifiedSupervisory experience for at least two (2) years
- verifiedKnowledge of AP Style preferred
