The Department of Medicine at the University of Toledo is seeking a dedicated faculty member to join our Infectious Diseases team. This role is central to our academic mission, blending exceptional direct patient care with a commitment to teaching, mentorship, and scholarly research. We actively support faculty in advancing the field through clinical trials and peer-reviewed publications while fostering a collaborative environment across the College of Medicine and the University.
As an Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor of Medicine, you will serve as a key leader in delivering high-quality, evidence-based care for infectious diseases. Your day will involve a dynamic mix of clinical duties, including inpatient consultations at two clinical sites and outpatient management in our General Infectious Diseases clinic. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, rounding with advanced practice providers, residents, medical students, and fellows.
Beyond patient care, this position is deeply rooted in education. You will have the opportunity to teach and mentor the next generation of physicians, contributing to curriculum development at all learning levels. The role also involves engaging in service activities that align with the Department's strategic goals, ensuring a holistic contribution to the institution's success.
