This position is responsible for a broad range of maintenance activities designed to keep flight kitchen units operating efficiently and effectively. You will be the backbone of our unit operations, ensuring that our equipment runs smoothly to support high-volume production environments.
In this role, you will perform preventative, diagnostic, and corrective maintenance on company equipment. Your day will involve troubleshooting, repairing, modifying, overhauling, or refurbishing standard and special-purpose equipment and systems. You will handle HVAC, plumbing, and electrical maintenance as needed, reading and understanding electrical schematics to resolve complex issues. You will also maintain on-site service logs and coordinate with vendors for necessary maintenance, obtaining approvals before requests are completed.
The work environment is a normal production kitchen facility, which may present physical challenges due to temperature and noise. You will regularly stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently during shifts of 10+ hours, often working a rotating schedule of over 55 hours per week. The ability to handle multiple tasks without losing focus on priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment is essential.
