We are seeking a Manager, Business Development (Regulatory) to join our Washington, D.C. office. This pivotal role sits within the Regulatory Business Development team, focusing on the Firm's global Tax practice, which encompasses controversy, litigation, planning, and transactional legal work.
In this position, you will lead key business development initiatives and strategies designed to drive new business, foster existing client growth, and execute cross-selling efforts. You will serve as a strategic partner to attorneys, practice leaders, and the Business Development & Marketing (BDM) Department, working to strengthen client relationships and secure new engagements. Your day-to-day involves designing and executing strategies that align with overall practice goals, driving revenue through client targeting, sales pipeline management, and sector-specific initiatives.
You will act as a bridge between the firm's legal expertise and its market presence, collaborating across transactional, litigation, regulatory, and international teams to identify cross-practice and cross-border opportunities. A significant part of the role involves supporting partners through coaching on business development initiatives and client presentation preparation, as well as facilitating the integration of lateral and newly promoted partners.
This is a hybrid role based in Washington, D.C., combining in-office collaboration with remote flexibility. Please note that the Firm will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.
Candidates must have previous experience working within a large law firm. The selection process will evaluate your ability to manage complex business development strategies, supervise team members, and navigate the fast-paced legal services environment.
